Gritting Local Roads and Pavements 

Further to the snow & ice in December the Salt Bins have been topped up. Further to complaints in regards to the A41 footbridge being quite treacherous Cllr Tim Williams visited and gritted the area on two mornings during the snow & ice period.

Herts County Council do offer a Free Salt scheme, to be put down on public areas, this scheme opens for applications in September with the bags of salt then delivered at the end of October. A number of residents in Stanborough do participate with this, and if you wish to do so then please contact Cllr Tim Williams.

As local Councillors we will be participating with Herts County Council’s review of their Winter Operations as we feel certain areas/routes were not covered satisfactorily.
