Rebuild Watford General and stop Labour’s decade long delay

The Labour government has announced a delay of 7 to 9 years before work starts on rebuilding Watford General hospital. This means construction will not start on the site until 2032 at the earliest.

Funding for 23 of the ‘40 new hospitals’ will be delivered before work at Watford General begins. Patients and staff at the hospital deserve far better than this.

During the last general election Labour politicians promised that Watford General would be rebuilt.
