Watford Mayor Celebrates Community Champions at Audentior Awards 2025

On 7 February 2025, the Audentior Awards were held to recognise the outstanding contributions of individuals, groups, and organisations that make Watford a better place. The event was hosted by Elected Mayor of Watford, Peter Taylor, and Chairwoman of Watford, Cllr Dawn Allen-Williamson, at Watford Palace Theatre.

 

The awards celebrated the incredible community spirit and dedication that continues to thrive within the town. From transforming green spaces to mentoring young people, the winners of this year’s awards demonstrated the power of local action and generosity.

 

Mayor Peter Taylor expressed his admiration for the nominees and winners, stating:

"The Audentior Awards are all about highlighting the people who make a real difference in our community. These individuals go above and beyond, whether it’s through voluntary work, public service, or simply being a good neighbour — these individuals represent the very best of Watford. Congratulations to all those nominated and to all the countless other unsung heroes in our town — you are an inspiration to all of us in Watford."

 

The awards ceremony not only acknowledged the achievements of Watford’s local heroes but also showcased the deep sense of pride, care, and commitment that defines our community.

 

This winners were nominated by the public, with each category recognising the diverse contributions made by the town’s residents.
