For residents living on Cassiobury Drive between the shops and Bellmount Wood Avenue, the large plane trees have been the source of various problems.
Several residents have spoken to us about the difficulty they have climbing the very steep section of Footpath 30 where it crosses West Herts Golf Course. Just before Christmas, Cllr Peter Jeffree met with the WBC Parks Manager and HCC's Footpaths Officer to discuss the problem.

The Lib Dem team are pleased to announce that after escalating this long running matter with Thames Water’s Chief Executive it seems the issue has been found, and a thorough deep clean is about to occur. It was a combination of sewer abuse (fat, oil & wet wipes) and the sewer pipeline was full of root ingress.
